Flexible OLED
Flexible OLED
this is a extreme thin flexible display from Sony
just like a paper, u can bend it and make a new form as u wish.
this technology is really amazing! if this OLED mature enough,
there will be a revolution for CT industry.
let's wait for it!

Thin, the unavoidable future
this is a result of an design study (or real project?) made by Ziba for Intel.
the thinst laptop on the world.
Thin the unavoitable future in CT branche.
thin nist right, but u have to show the high value and difference of it.
it's not easy so i think they reached their goal.
nice treament for the details, nice finish,
especially nice color, no more silver and black....
cheers

2 big News in Design Branch
there are really 2 big surpricing News in german (european) design world:
the first one:
Nico Michler (37), Gerd Helmreich (50), Michael Lanz (41) and Claude Toussaint (37), 4 long term employees of designafairs, just bought the once biggest industrial design firm from siemens.
in 2005 i have worked for designafairs as intern. at that time, designafairs was full of power, energy and especially sucess. nomberous design awards, big clients, good salary. but since siemens mobile was sold, designairs suffered the most difficult time they ever had.
but now i am more confident for it's future. as Mr. Lanz said, from now on, they have more flexibility. they can work for any customers. Specially, Nico, ist really a excellent designer in this area. u can hardly find a better one.
i wish designafairs good luck.
The second big news is:
from now on, ziba design europe, calls SIGNCE!!!!!
as i read it, my face is just like this -> O.O"
i was so surprised, that they decided to go their own way.
ziba europe was always the best "hourse power" for ziba portland.their relationship was very close. sometimes they even share their projects with each other. i know many designers from both sides. they all do their job very well, good ideas, precise design language. and especially, they are all nice guys and enjoy their life very much ;D.
now the munich company desided to develope their own future.
i wish all friends there , good luck, too
cheers
