Steering Wheel as a Remote Control

as the image already told, u use a steering wheel as a remote to control the car.
i think it is also a intuitive idea instead of a joy stick!!

this is still my favorite movie, especially the second part.
it was so bloody, so beautiful and so sad.
if u can remember the scene of the horse head, u will like this pillow :-D

i think more many people, a memory stick is just like

this product is not a new idea. But it links all of them together!!

Sony TAV - L1 HDTV and Audio System

at the first sight, it just looks like a big speaker surface.
The display is hide behind the speaker,
which on the first hand is the protection of the display, on the second hand,
it demostrate a flush, clean image. just like a painting on the wall.
"you need it, you see it. you don't need it, it disapears."

but what i dont like is the stand. it destroys somehow the image of it
and makes it too big. if i get one, i will hang it on the wall :-D

personaly, i like the concept
but the design i can't see really much in the picture.
(well, i can't see the details so i can't judge it.)

Presentation for Workshop!

We just finished a 3-week-workshop for the library in the university.
the theme is : Seduction to Silence

(we did this project with some american guest students from south caroline)

the design of our library is great, however the whole building is actually a big echo room. the acoustic problem bothers the visitor and the worker there a lot. So the director offered us a project to reduce the problem but without to change the construction.

Japanese Traditional Logo "Kamon"

hello every one, long time no see!
after a few weeks hard work (i didnt really sleep last week),
i am online again.

so this time i would like to show "Kamon" japanese traditional logos.

"Ka" means family, "mon" means logo or symbol.
in the past (hundred years ago), every japanes nobility family has its logo to represent the honor and traditional.
these logos are still very "well designed", or even "modern".

especially their transportation design department is one of the best 3 or 4 on the world. (the other will be: Art Center of design, Pforzheim, College for Creative Studies )
